I am the National Coordinator for Living Waters in the USA. I went
through the Living Waters program in 1990, in my hometown of San
Francisco, and have been involved ever since. On staff with DSM since
2001, I have been blessed to work with leaders around the world to
incorporate the healing programs of Desert Stream Ministries within
their local church communities.
My ministry to the sexually and relationally broken has come as a
result of my own journey out of homosexuality. Though diagnosed with the
HIV virus in 1989, I have truly seen Christ come and give me life to
the full. He continues to make possible my seeming impossibilities.
I marvel at seeing God take the most shameful aspects of my life –
and the lives of our leaders throughout the USA – and bring glory to His
Name. It troubles me that so few churches maintain a safe, truthful
community in which people can work out their salvation.
I now live in Kansas City, MO with my wife Chrystal and our son,
Jeremiah. We attend the Vineyard Community Church in Overland Park, KS
and are part of the leadership team for the Living Waters program there.
