Internship Introduction
|
We believe Desert Stream Ministry(DSM) programs are to be established and firmly rooted in the local church. We see the DSM internship program as an integral part of this process.
The internship program seeks to:
|
--Impart the values of Desert Stream Ministries. These include: intimacy with God, confession, intercession, fasting, listening prayer, and further personal healing through community.
|
--Provide opportunities for leadership growth through practical ministry experiences.
|
--Impart the leadership values of Desert Stream Ministries through study of the curriculum, participation in leadership courses and DSM groups, and group meetings with the Intern Directors and DSM staff.

| Through the internship program we believe each participant will: |
-- Deepen their personal relationship with God.
|
-- Develop and strengthen their spiritual gifts.
|
--Be equipped to lead DSM programs.
|
--Develop a strategy for introducing DSM programs in their church or strengthen existing DSM groups.
|
-- Develop leadership skills for ministry to the sexually and relationally broken.
