Daily Duties

Interns are involved in the day-to-day workings of the ministry. The tasks range from reception duties, data base maintenance, correspondence to conference administration. The Desert Stream office is open Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Each intern’s schedule is worked out with the intern director upon the intern’s arrival.

The goals of the internship are three-fold:

1) Help the intern learn how to deal responsibly with areas of personal brokenness as a prerequisite for release into ministry.

2) Help the intern to discern and deepen their spiritual calling, gifting, and leadership skills.

3) Provide experiences and opportunities for equipping one to serve the sexually and relationally broken. These range from pastoral ministry to ministry administration.
